It's overcast and 56 degrees. I love overcast days because the fall colors pop out! What a great night stay. We stayed at a Best Western Plus last night in Oakdale.. Awesome place!! We are headed to Billings, Montana today. We will be passing through Fargo!! Each new state that we put in the GPS just starts the excitement all over again.
Yesterday was a really long day, but so eventful. We crossed a timezone and gained an hour which meant we have more time (YES! We can bend time, she says). Anyhoo, adding 2 stops and traffic did set us back but we pushed through and are still on track.
I enjoyed taking pictures standing up through the sunroof. Sometimes it's all about the angle. We haven't processed any pictures on our cameras yet, but they are coming.
Side note on hotels and traveling with pets. You can do this and on a budget!! All the hotels we have stayed in and or booked have been pet friendly even at the national parks. The most we have paid in pet fees has been $20. The rooms are clean and comfy. One thing to note: if you are booking the day of your stay and the time of your call is later like 4pm, most hotels will discount your room more to get you to stay and they can close out reservations for the night. Last night's room was discounted to where we didn't pay a pet fee.

Oh! And thank goodness for my Thirty-one bags. We are so organized!!! Bag for shoes, bag for toiletries, a bag for cold wear gear etc. You get the idea. I have draw string bags to pull day packs together too. Love it!
