Canadian Rockies Raptor Trip

This being our 10th anniversary year, Russ and I decided to knock some items off our bucket list. We are driving from here to the Canadian Rockies. We are staying in Banff National Park and hope to visit 4 other National Parks, family in Ottumwa, and parts of Montana. Being photographers, we will be shooting along the way. Two of my must shoot items are the Northern Lights (if we see them) and Lake Louise. Cubby, our dog, is coming too! So hop on board and enjoy our ride!

Beautiful Minnesota

We are in the dairy and cheese country. The last sign I saw said "we do cows". Golden fields that go on forever, silos, farms, and wide open spaces. New smells for Cubby too. The rest stops put Virginia to shame!

Windmill Farm

We have never seem so many windmills concentrated in the same place before. They are all over the farms here. Must be another way for farmers to subsidize their income.
